For large heavy mirrors and large offsets drill holes in the mirror and use our standoff sytems.

The further down and the longer the wire the more it will tilt. Center the mounting bracket or cleat on the back of the mirror frame and level with its top edge. Put crimp wire through the d rings at the top and screw each end of the wire at the top back side of the mirror. Just follow the package directions.

Lift the mirror into place and lock the two cleat hooks together. Use a power drill to carefully make pilot holes into the frame using the pre drilled holes in the bracket as a guide. Interlocking brackets on the wall and the mirror provide secure and level hanging.

Usually you position the top cleat at the top of the frame make shallow holes and attach it with the included screws. Gradually reduce your hold on the mirror until it is fully supported by the cleat. Attach the bar to the frame with screws. You can also use metal cleats to hang mirrors with sturdy frames.

You can adjust the tilt by adjusting the slack of the wire step 4. I ignorantly hung one over my fireplace by the brackets attached on the top of the frame. Hang a mirror using cleats. Give enough slack of the wire so that the mirror can tilt out at the top.

Note if you ve used wood glue to secure the mirror s cleat be sure to wait until the glue is completely dry before hanging the mirror. Now it just reflects the ceiling. The mirror will need to hang from a wire that is attached lower than the top of the mirror.
